New Library Catalog Coming Soon

We’re excited to announce that CCS libraries will be launching a brand‑new library catalog this year. Searching, browsing, and discovering materials at your library is going to become easier than ever!

With the new catalog, you’ll discover:

• A new, modern, mobile friendly design

• Easier ways to browse by genre, age group, and popular titles and more

• New tools to save and organize titles using personal shelves

• More ways to explore through staff picks and curated lists

You’ll still be able to do everything you’re used to—placing holds, renewing items, and managing your account—just with a smoother, more streamlined experience. We can’t wait for you to explore!

Timeline

We’re rolling out the new catalog in phases to make the transition as smooth as possible:

• Public Preview Phase (April-May for most libraries): Get an early look at the new catalog before it officially launches! During the preview period, explore the new catalog and share your feedback by completing a short form. Your library will share a link to the new catalog when the preview phase begins. Watch your library’s current catalog or website for details.

• Public Launch (May-October 2026): Your library will officially launch the new catalog between May and October 2026. Launch dates will vary by library, so check with your local library for specific timing and updates.

What to Expect?

• During the preview phase, you’ll be able to explore the new catalog before it replaces the current one. Switch between the current experience and the new one as you explore!

• The design and layout may feel different at first, but familiar actions—like searching, placing holds, and managing your account—will work much the same as they do now. • Your feedback matters! Share your feedback and questions with the library during the preview stage and beyond by completing the feedback form found at the bottom of each page in the new catalog.
